Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of PaceCut during its beta. By creating an account you agree to them.

Who we are

PaceCut is operated by [operator legal name, address and registration to confirm] (“we”, “us”).

The beta

PaceCut is an early product. Features may change, be paused or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. Access is free during the beta and may require an invitation.

Your account

• You must be at least [minimum age to confirm] and give accurate account details.
• Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Do not share or resell access.

Your content

You keep all rights to the footage, audio, text and other material you upload, and to the videos you create. You give us permission to store, process and transform that material only to provide the service to you, including sending it to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm you have the rights and any permissions needed for what you upload, including from people who appear in it.

Acceptable use

• No unlawful, infringing, hateful, sexually exploitative or deceptive content.
• No attempts to break, overload, scrape or bypass limits of the service, or to access other people’s workspaces.
• No automated or bulk use beyond the fair-use allowance described on the Pricing page.

AI-generated edits

Edits are produced with AI and can contain mistakes: wrong cuts, captions, transcripts or choices. Review every video before you publish it. You are responsible for what you publish.

Free allowance

Your use is limited by the allowances shown on the Pricing page. We may change these during the beta and will show current limits there.

Suspension and ending your account

We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk. You can stop using PaceCut at any time and ask us to delete your account and data as described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty and liability

The beta is provided “as is”, without warranties to the extent the law allows. [Liability limits, consumer-law carve-outs and governing law to confirm.] Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

We will post changes here and update the date above. For significant changes we will tell you in the app before they apply.
